Pathways for Achievement

Master James Langlas Ph.D (7th Dan) Founder and Executive Director of Pathways for Achievement, a not-for-profit organization aimed as helping at-risk teenagers learn Taekwon-Do, get tutoring help with their schoolwork, and perform community service. (This is a UTF sanctioned organization.) Pathway programs are taught by volunteer adults and basic funding is provided by private donors, small businesses and corporations.
Master Langlas has developed a Taekwon Do program that has been approved by the Wheaton North High School District (IL) for special groups of identified Freshman. This program, unlike others, is not a extra curricular activity but a Physical Education requirement each day beginning at 7:20am. Master Langlas teaches the U.T.F. style and principles so these student can start their day with an inspiring physical and moral workout.
